I decided today was the day to count my harlequin flower beetle larva because I needed to add in some new substrate. I’m very pleased. 16 L1 to small L2 and 22 either very large L2 or L3. 38 total from six original beetles. And five of my six original beetles are still kicking after about 5 months. Cheers!
My adults are at five months right now and with any luck I’ll have them for some time to come. I’ve lost one of the original six so that’s pretty good odds! How long did your adults tend to live?
