These guys are so animated, as tiger beetles usually are...all of mine are mating like crazy and do it with such a frenzy they end up on their backs. This goes on all day when the lights are on! What shameless little beasts!!!

Had a great time up in Millbrook for the second week in a row. Caught: C. sexguttata, couldn't get a better pic because it was eating and I was very happy to NOT disturb it. Found these 2 big babies in a rotted tree, very exciting, any ID help would be fantastic! This guy's pooping...

Found a pair of these last weekend but only could catch the one...didn't want to find out the hard way that it WAS a bombardier lol.

But wait, there's more... G. lurida B. craniifer B. giganteus B. rothi I got P. nivea too, but couldn't get any pics. And it came with about 8 different species of isopods, and 3 different Eleodes sp.!!! Guess how excited I was!
