Would it be beneficial to start making my own flake?
I plan on having more beetles in the future but having an excess of flake soil with no grubs in it seems very insufficient.

You could always sell your excess flake soil!

Selling the excess may be beneficial, but how would one store it? I also just don't know anyone in my area that keeps beetles.

You could sell it online. Once it is fermented and ready I would seal it so no fungus gnats consume it or just keep it dry. I’ve made a few batches in the past, and it does take a considerable amount of time…
